Shift Happens (WK 8 – Let It Go!)

let it go

Perhaps Elsa in Disney’s classic learned a secret worth applying in your business when she declared “Let it go, let it go!”  What if the things you’ve been holding onto are the very things holding you back from your next level of elevated thinking and performance?

YOU are a very complex being.  More than just a body, your life existence is made by a masterful Creator with deliberate intention in designing you as a triad being that can create masterpieces just like He does.

We were created in the image of God but why do so many people struggle with success in life, marriage, and business?  Could it be that, instead of being LIKE God, they have taken on the weights of the world and instead, hold on to things that are holding them back!

TargetThough looking in a mirror you will only see the appearance of your body, flesh, and human structure, by looking deeper into your soul and spirit, we will hopefully find answers that lead us to a more powerful you!

You were created as a spirit being with a human soul, living in a physical body.

Your spirit is the innermost part of your being, created in the image of God and is the only part of you that has the potential to outlive your body. Equally, your spirit is the root system of your life and where the root of all behaviors stem, both good and bad.

Perhaps you’ve heard the saying, “His spirit was vexed.” What that means is that something has taken root in “his” spirit so much that it has become an annoying part of his very being, which in turn, affects his mind, will, emotions, and even modalities.

Generally, if your spirit is grounded with healthy roots, your soul (mind, will and emotions) will be full of joy, peace, patience, etc. When your spirit, however, contains roots of bitterness, greed, anger, unforgiveness or other negative anchors, it will eventually manifest symptoms in your soul and body that can lead to disease both emotionally and physically.

Your soul is the command center of your mind, will, and emotions. This is the emotional core of your modalities, behaviors, and rituals. It is where your belief system resides, along with attitudes, personality traits, feelings, fears, choices, stress, anxiety and where other emotions live. Your soul reflects what is going on deep within your spirit.

Your body, unlike your soul and spirit, is the earth suit that you have been given while on this planet. You only get one earth suit, and that is why it is so important to treat it with respect by taking care of it daily.

Every part of your body has an intended purpose. From your fingernails, eyelashes and nose hairs to the complexity of your vascular system, digestion, and brain, you are a remarkable creation.

screen-shot-2016-10-23-at-5-30-35-pmYour brain alone is a complex computer sending billions of bits of information throughout your body. Your
brain controls every action, right down to the blinking of your eyelids and yet it is made of 75% water. Amazing right? In just one human brain there is more wiring and electrical circuitry than in all the computer systems of the entire world combined. Taking care of your body is not only about looking and feeling good, but it is also about functioning at peak condition.

“By their fruits, you will know them.” – Matthew 7:20

Could it be that the “roots” of your spirit are a major contributing factor to the symptoms manifesting in your body, mind, and emotions? Consider this: According to the American Institute of Stress, “Between 75% and 90% of all screen-shot-2016-10-23-at-5-30-53-pmvisits to the primary care physician result from stress-related (psychological) disorders.” Look at the tree below and then do a self-inventory of your life. Do you have symptoms in your body and soul that could be lined to deep rooted issues of your past? On the next page, take the time to write out those bitter roots and make it a point to seek the deliverance you need, once and for all!

Imagine what it would be like to be a pure vessel of hope, inspiration, effective communication, intention, and peace. Imagine being able to replace the fear, regret, unforgiveness, or frustrations you have carried for so long. In our video course, I do a very simple visual example of a glass filled with rocks.

No matter how much water you pour into a glass full of rocks, the rocks are taking up “capacity” that the pure water can never overtake. Much like a leader wanting to be used by God to do mighty things in this life, their potential is limited to their capacity.

If you, however, remove the weights or rocks that are holding you back, you increase the God-capacity for His power, His image, His purposes to be made evident in your life.

rocks-1Sure, God can use broken leaders and often does. But what if you could move through life, a little lighter, more effective, more peaceful and seemly magnetic due to the light and pure energy that flows through your life as a vessel? That can only happen if you remove the rocks of fear, anger, self-pity, regret, jealousy and anything else that is holding you back from being your BEST YOU!

Identify the root behaviors (rocks) that could be holding you back or slowing down your overall progress and ask God to refill you with His goodness so that you can operate at your fullest effectiveness today!
