The first “Secret Ingredient” to success is B.E.E.F.
This was a simple principle I learned as a competitive basketball player. I was the smallest player on the court, so my father taught me early on that if you want something bad enough, you have to be willing to practice daily to create good habits to develop extraordinary speed and accuracy.
I applied these same principles to my 25-year career in Direct Sales and even in my last position as Sr. Vice President of a 22-year-old corporation. In every instance, speed, accuracy and execution were key to building with strength and sustainability. It is a joy to see others apply them and see their own success.
B = Balance
When taking a shot on the basketball court, your accuracy is determined by the balance of your stance. To achieve AND MAINTAIN success in Solavei, I encourage you to start with a balanced approach and solid strategy. Before launching our Solavei business, I sat down with my family to pray for wisdom and strength to make Solavei a place of inspiration and hope for millions.

For many, Solavei will be a part-time effort with the dream of earning a few hundred dollars extra each month. For me, I wanted to create a network that would generate MILLIONS of dollars to help support our passion for ministry and non-profits. Of course, the bigger the dream, the greater the sacrifice. To keep a balanced home life, our family decided TOGETHER that we would make the necessary sacrifices to build a strong foundation for success during the first year. That focus paid off with a life-changing residual income, a trip for our entire family to Hawaii, and the ability to positively affect the lives of others with our increased good fortune.
E = Eyes On Target
In basketball and every other sport, keeping your eye on the goal is imperative to proper execution. The same is true in your Solavei business. You must set clear goals and keep your eyes on the target NO MATTER WHAT comes between you and that desired result. It is also important that you take action everyday to move one step closer to your goal. If you haven’t already set your goals, I encourage you to go through the 1K Challenge Roadmap now.
E= Elbow In
The first few years of learning to play basketball were about creating habits that result in speed and accuracy. Eventually, the thousands of hours spent practicing my shot resulted in me averaging 23 points per game in high school. Those formative years of creating great habits are what gave me the skills to perform well under pressure throughout each season. In business, you should make sure that you’re doing the little things each day that lead you to best results and greater accuracy. What do you spend your time on each day? Is it giving you desired results? If you see your conversion rate is low, don’t keep doing what you are doing. Adjust till your “shot” is on and your accuracy increases and then do it over and over again.
F = Follow Through
The release of the ball determines whether or not you “score.” In business, the cliché, “The fortune is in the follow-up,” still holds true today. If you show someone a video, capture a lead, or introduce them to one of the many tools of Solavei, be sure to follow up in a timely manner and remember that Solavei is POWERED BY RELATIONSHIPS. Ask yourself, “Who can I contact today that I have not followed-up with properly?”
As you continue to share Solavei with others, be sure to remember the B.E.E.F. principle and move towards greater speed and accuracy. GREAT players aren’t born, they are tested and proven by the efforts, practice and skills they DEVELOP over time.
