Want to disrupt the funk that has been going on in your body.  Try this HEALTH HACK  101:  DRINK MORE WATER.

It could very well be the Miracle Cure your body is longing for.

Water is the single most important nutrient we give our bodies. We can live up to 7 weeks without food, but  we can only live 3 to 5 days without water. Why? Because our body, as well as each of our organs are dependent upon water.

Your body is a finely tuned machine created with such precision that it still boggles the minds of scientists. Think of this: The human brain has 4 million pain sensors, 500,000 touch detectors, and 200,000 temperature gauges. Your eyes have 100 million receptors giving you the ability to see things with incredible 3D clarity. Your ears have 24,000 fibers that vibrate giving you the ability to hear. Your body is made up of 500 muscles, 200 bones, and 7 miles of nerve fibers. Your heart beats 36,000,000 times per year and you have over 60,000 miles of veins and capillaries running through your body.

Your body is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift to God!

Larry and I were married 18 years ago but before that magical moment, I was a wreck physically.  Sure, I was “skinny” but that didn’t mean I was the image of health.  Larry, on the other hand was an “all natural” body builder, health enthusiast, and a major water fanatic.

When I would complain about a headache, he would say, “Have you been drinking enough water today?”   When I would have muscle cramps or leg aches, he would reply, “Have you been drinking enough water?” If I told him I was nauseated, again, he would say…”Have you been drinking enough water?”

He started sounding like a parrot or broken record with his “water heals all” perspective till finally, one day, I decided to give it a go and test his theory.  To my amazement, I found out he was right all along and I wasn’t the smartest cookie in the house!

That day, I was enlightened to know that my body was not craving Tylenol when I had a headache. It was not craving Motrin when I had cramps. And it was not craving Advil when my legs were achy. On the contrary, my body was crying out for pure, clean H2O.

IS YOUR WARNING LIGHT FLASHING?
Recently, we were on a road trip when our engine light started flashing.  We quickly proceeded to the nearest service station to check it out when we realized the truck was low on oil.  Simple fix, right?  With just a quick addition of oil, we were back on our way.  Had we have ignored the “warning sign”, however, our engine could have completely seized up, resulting in costly repairs, precious time lost, and frustration due to a lack of attention to the needs of the vehicle.

Much like that engine light of our truck, our bodies act the same way. When it is deficient of water, our body’s primary nutrient, it begins to flash warning signals called SYMPTOMS. Whether your symptoms are headaches, body aches, muscle pain, arthritis, migraines, skin problems, digestive problems or many other physical challenges, your answer may not require you checking into the local hospital. Before you rush to the medicine cabinet, try reloading your body with pure, clean water.
