Happy New Year from the Wallace’s
Happy New Year!
What an amazing 2017 we had and though some of the year was hit with extreme storms, transitions, and trials, we look back and say “Thank You, God, for the even GREATER blessings that you’ve brought us.”
Like you, we’ve had great days in 2017, and we’ve also had some very trying days that required us to press in and hear God’s voice more than ever. We had named the year 2017 the year to “Expand” and it certainly expanded our faith and hunger to listen to the voice of God.
By October, we knew that the “expansion” God was giving us was ever increasing faith. As I made my dream-board this year, everything seemed so small compared to my hunger to Know God, make Him known and to see His power manifest in the world. We have landed on this last day of the year, more hungry, focused and passionate about our businesses, ministry efforts, social spaces and the future than ever before. We want to know God and make Him known in every area of our lives, and that is why the word we have chosen for 2018 is:
DOMINION
In order to take new territory for God, you have to be willing to take risks, make adjustments and go wherever He tells you to go and do what He tells you to do.
Psalm 8:6 declares that God has given us DOMINION over all things on this earth. “You have made him (us) to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet…”
If you have been settling for what life throws your way, you are NOT taking dominion. You were born to rule and reign, and 2018 is your opportunity to step up, step out, and step into the authority God wants to give you in your business, family, and life.
