MISSION POSSIBLE IS OFF THE SHELF FOR GOOD!

Before Zig Ziglar passed away, I had the opportunity to spend 12 years of my life sharing many stages together.  I learned so much from his mannerisms, character and the simple way he loved others through his passion to inspire marketplace leaders.  When I wrote the manuscript for my new book MISSION POSSIBLE, I shared it with him, hoping he would do me the honor of writing the forward for the book.  His wisdom and guidance helped me turn a good book into a GREAT book for marketplace leaders to step into their God-given role as ambassadors of Good News in the marketplace.

Zig Ziglar wrote the forward on Mission Possible and after having it printed, I was immediately called into full-time corporate leadership.  I put the 5000 books in storage, thinking, “Why would God have me write something and not be able to fully release it?”  I spent the next decade of my life in the marketplace as a corporate executive, raising up successful companies.  It’s generally “not cool” to self-promote when you are focussed on building a corporate brand.  So I put my book, my music and my writing talents “on the shelf”.

But over 14 years later, only two weeks ago, a small group of 12 women called me and asked if they could use my book as their bible study.  They were all marketplace boss-babes, moms, and businesswomen with a passion to become all God has created them to be.

Of course, I said, “Yes” and I even went to their first group study to give THEM a word of encouragement.  Funny thing about God though….IT WAS AN INTERVENTION staged by God on me to say, “Staci, what have you done with the talents I have given you?  Why are those books still in storage collecting dust? What if there were men and women all over the world meeting in homes like this, discussing my role for them in the marketplace?   If I came back today, would I be pleased with what I inspired you to write and what you’ve done with it?”

UGH!

That night, those ladies didn’t know it but God used them to AWAKEN me and resurrect the talents, passion and anointing in my life as an author and marketplace EVANGELIST.  I came home and sat in quiet meditation as I felt HIS Voice say, “NOW is the time.  THIS is the place and YOU are the one I have called to speak LIFE into the marketplace.  Awaken the sleeping warriors there and set the stage for a coming revival.”

The Story About Investment

^14-18 “It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master’s money.

^19-21 “After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them. The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

^22-23 “The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master’s investment. His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.’

^24-25 “The servant given one thousand said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’

^26-27 “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

^28-30 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’
